Dr. John Maguire, Dr. Donovan Teel and Dr. Mujeeb Siddiqui bring nearly 40 years of combined experience and are truly the area’s leaders in laparoscopic bariatric surgery.
Dr. John Maguire performed his first procedure in 1978. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery. He is a founding member of the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. He is a Fellow in the American Society of Surgeons. Dr. Maguire’s experience is not just in surgery but in the follow-up care. To have a successful Bariatric Surgery practice you need to follow the patient for life, answer every concern promptly, and be there to help the patient in their journey.
Dr. Donovan Teel is certified by the American Board of Surgery. He is a member of the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, The Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeon and a Fellow in the American Society of Surgeons. Dr. Teel is one of a handful of surgeons across the United States who performs the Laparoscopic Biliopancreatic Diversion with Duodenal Switch. He has performed numerous presentations which include early experience with Robotic Gastrointestinal surgery.
Dr. Mujeeb Siddiqui is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic
Surgeons and is a Cinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at Boonshoft School of Medicine, Wright State University. He is
fellowship trained in Advanced Laparoscopic procedures with specialty training in Bariatric Procedures.

Medical Center Representative
Holly and Lisa are the friendly voices that answer the phone. They will help you schedule for follow-up care and assist you with making your date for the seminar.
Bariatric Insurance Coordinator/Surgery Scheduler
Jennifer and her assistant, Patricia, will help you through the insurance process. They will help you understand your insurance benefits and assist you with fulfilling your requirements. Their favorite part is telling you that your surgery has been approved.
Director of Clinical Operations
Kim brings an expertise in the field of bariatrics to our office. She is dedicated to helping the surgery patients. She is an associate member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. She keeps the clinical side of our office running.
Medical Assistants
Lori, Theresa, and Vicky work closely with the patients. They are always here for questions. Their goal is to give all the knowledge you need before and after surgery to help you to through your new life choices.
Medical Billing Specialist
Carol is our hard working billing representative. She is always available to help you with your account. She certainly wants the insurance companies to pay all that they should. She brings 23 years of billing experience to the office.
Practice Manager
Jan is the practice manager. She brings thirty years of experience in medical billing to our office. She will assist you with financial choices if you are looking for a self pay option.
